Limited Run: Peru Café de Mujer Fair Trade Organic Medium Roast

For the past 5 years, APROCCURMA (Asociación de Productores Cafetaleros de la Cuenca del Rio Marañón) has worked directly with 124 women producers to establish entire farms owned and managed by women. They use organic practices to manage acres of land interspersed with shade trees (bananas, corn, beans). The cooperative also aids in investments such as road improvements, local warehousing, and preparing coffee for export. They also provide women producers with financing, training, and technical assistance to both improve the quality of the coffee, as well as investing in the individuals long term.
